Police search for lost toddler's parents

A toddler, aged about nine months, who apparently strayed from her guardian’s watch, was found crawling along Aroshodipo Crescent, Government Reserved Area, Ikeja, Lagos, yesterday.
A police patrol team, which sighted the baby, took him to the Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja. At press time yesterday, none had come to pick the baby boy.
Speaking on the rescue, the Command’s boss, Fatai Owoseni, appealed to parents, particularly working mothers, to be conscious of the need to protect their vulnerable children, to avoid them falling victims of kidnapping.
He called on parents of the child to come and pick him at the Command, with evidence to show that the baby is their biological child.
