No fewer than four persons died yesterday in a ghastly motor accident which occurred in Lokoja, Kogi State, while 49 others sustained injuries.
Among the dead is one of the 50 students of Covenant Secondary School, Lokoja, Kogi State, involved in the accident.
The 49 others are receiving treatment for various degrees of injuries at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja.
The students, who were boarding house students of the school, were conveyed to the Living Faith Church situated around Phase 11 side of the town for Sunday Service and were returning to their school when the accident occurred.
An eyewitness said the state mass transit bus in which the students were travelling after the sunday service was hit by a Dangote vehicle in front of Harmony Secondary School gate in Phase 11, Lokoja.
