The Director-General of President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Council in Bauchi State, Alhaji Mai’auduga, has raised alarm that over N230 million funds meant to support Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, campaigns in the state was yet to reach the group from the Presidency.
Mai’auduga, who is also the Director General of Governor Yuguda Campaign Organisation, stated this yesterday in Bauchi.
He said: “The state campaign council has already set up a committee, headed by Governor Isa Yuguda, to find the missing funds and whoever is guilty of the dubious act of diverting the funds will face the disciplinary action from the party.
“The money was released to the state campaign council in two batches of N80 million and N150 million. They were diverted by prominent persons in the party and we requested the governor to investigate and find the missing funds.”
