Jonathan, Jega, Army chiefs, DSS, NSA in closed-door meeting

President Goodluck Jonathan is in a decisive meeting with Professor Attahiru Jegam, Chairman, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Security chiefs are also expected to brief the meeting on the success so far recorded in their anti-terrorism war and preparations for the elections also.
The meeting, which started past 11am, has in attendance Vice President Namadi Sambo; Senator Pius Anyim, Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Gen. Jones Arogbofa (retd), Chief of Staff to the President; Col. Sambo Dasuki, National Security Adviser; Muhammed Adoke (SAN), Attorney-General of the Federation; Jelili Adesiyan, Minister of Police Affairs; Mr. Aba Moro, Minister of Interior; and Ambassador Aminu Wali, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Others in attendance are Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, Chief of Defence Staff; Lt.-Gen. Kenneth Minimah, Chief of Army Staff; Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin, Chief of Naval Staff; Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, Chief of Air Staff; Mr. Suleiman Abba, Inspector-General of Police, and heads of the Department of State Services and the National Intelligence Agency.
