Some months back, I told my boyfriend of two years to let us cool things a bit in spite of the fact that he was the most loyal, honest and caring man I’d ever met.
I had just met someone else then who swept me off my feet. He wined and dined me and I was in seventh heaven until I came crashing down when he moved on to another relationship.
I felt rejected and decided to go back to my ex. But, he doesn’t want me back now.
According to him, I had been used and dumped. He says I broke his heart when I had the fling with the other man, and that he’ll never take me back. Should I give him time?
I wish I could tell you a way to get your ex back, but I don’t honestly think he’ll come back to you.
Often, when people are badly hurt, they emotionally cut off the one who caused them such pain— and that’s what your ex has done.
In my experience though, people don’t go off with someone else for no reason.
They do it because their relationship is on the rocks. Your ex may be the most wonderful man when you went out with him for two years, but that didn’t stop you from going with another man who offered you excitement.
Obviously, your ex wasn’t right for you. So, find a man who is right, then you won’t be unfaithful to him.
