James Bond actor, Sir Roger George Moore, has died at the age of 89 after
a 'short but brave' battle with cancer, his family have revealed.
In a statement announcing his death, the London-born family said that the
iconic actor had been 'surrounded' by love in his final days in Switzerland.
Sir Roger was an English actor. He played the British secret agent James
Bond in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985. He is also known for playing
Simon Templar in the television series The Saint between 1962 and 1969.
