You want to know what road repair miracle mean? GO TO JAPAN!

While motorists around the world endure the misery of pothole damage, authorities in Japan have given a lesson in efficiency - by fixing a gaping sinkhole in just one week. The huge chasm measured around 30 metres wide and 15 metres deep when the road collapsed last Tuesday. But just seven days later, the road, in the business district of the Japanese city of Fukuoka, has been reopened. Construction teams worked around the clock, dumping huge amounts of wet cement and sand into the huge hole and fixing electricity, gas and water lines. Subway construction is believed to have caused the collapsed. The city's mayor, Soichiro Takashima, even apologised for the inconvenience that had been called to citizens, stating: 'We're very sorry for causing great trouble.'
