Of bloggers and Wizkid's intelligence

When you embrace technology, it is like taking a public office— your privacy, or what remains of it, takes a battering. In any case, voyeurism is one of the indices of post-modern times.
Whatever contemporary realities have thrown at us does not excuse going to town with unconfirmed reports or half-truths.
Bloggers have become content aggregators and, at times, without acknowledging copyright owners. So, if only Linda Ikeji had tapped into the endless depth of Wizkid's knowledge, the prodigy would not have laid into the blogger with such venom. After all, only a wizkid can make billions singing songs that have no lyrical syntax or psychological depth.

Then again, if you are a blogger that has made serious money by copying and pasting/posting materials from other sources, a kid not out of diapers, whether wiz or not, will call you by name.
As much as enough energy goes into making money by pursuing what you do with zest, decency is still a virtue. So could Linda, please, confirm reports? And Wizkid, when you become Wizman, will some of you lines still make sense to you?
Well, maybe when I begin to make millions like you two, I will change my tune.

Meanwhile, Linda, please, schedule class sessions with Wizkid. His intelligence is amazing. Or have you not noticed how “No need for long thing” (that fresh and delectable sound) metamorphosed into “Plenty men shall fall dat day if you cross my lane?” Ha!
