Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur Davis dies at 69

Afeni Shakur Davis, the mother of late rapper, Tupac Shakur, is dead. She died in Sausalito, California, aged 69around 10:28p.m., Monday.

She was the subject of Tupac's 1995 hit ‘Dear Mama.’

25-year-old Tupac was shot on September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. After six days in the hospital, he died.
