Disillusionment crawls near. If the leaders and Nigerians think it will all be oiled smooth because we deceived ourselves into seeing a messiah, too bad.
Even if he has good plans, it will require a continuum for any meaningful change to come. That is, the leader of change must hand over to another leader of change and the change baton must get to another one of change.
If it took about 5 leaders to systematically ruin Nigerian, it must take about 10, or double the number of years it took those five, before we can see genuine change.
All the arresting and hopping about we are being fed with are frantic effort of people who want to retain their jobs. Corruption is too entrenched in our system and individual blood for Buhari (lets assume he is anything close to a messiah) to perform any miracle that will be an upheaval.
Suddenly, light improved and people remembered files abandoned in drawers. So it was not Jonathan, but you and I who do no have the conscience to play our part until a threat created in our mind manifests.
He cannot do a Jerry-of-Ghana and lacks the depth of character of Chairman Mao and the likes.
We might be just trying to make sense out of this myth we have created of an individual.
