Chief Orbih, who addressed a rally at Oghomere in Etsako Central Local Government Area of the state, however, commended Obaseki for his courage to admit that his government was failing because of the huge debt profile his government inherited.
He said many schools in the state were no longer fit for learning, adding that hospitals were also under-staffed and under-equipped.
His words: “Most worrisome is the state of the corruption-ridden storm water project that has claimed many lives.
“The heightened insecurity situation and the looting of the security votes of N400 million monthly continue, while the Police lack operational vehicles and even basic communica-tions equipment.
“I commend the state Commissioner of Police, officers and men of the Police Force for their dedication and hard work even as they are starved of funds.”
Orbih also commended Mr. Phillip Agbaiza and other defectors, congratulating them “for their courage and forthrightness as only genuine patriots move from government parties to an opposition party.”
In his remark, Mr. Agbaiza said he was dropping the “smelly broom” for the umbrella because he was tired of deceit and lies that characterises All Progressives Congress, APC, governance template, adding that they make promises they don’t intend to keep.
Also, Senator Cliff Ordia (Edo Central) delivered a goodwill message from the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, at the event, which had Joe Edionwere (Esan West/Esan Central/Igueben federal constituency) in attendance.
